I have created some jewelry,

and will be using the profits for the state filling fees.

$13 from each of  these necklaces will go to Shooting For Liam

I choose the Giraffe for Childrens Hospital Central CA's Mascot, George the Giraffe. Because of their great doctors and wonderful staff of nurses, PCT's and respitory therapist, we have "Hope" for the furture.

Because God gives us Miracles

Because without Love, we'd be lost.

You have to have Faith during the hard and trying times.

Faith in God

Faith in the doctors

and Faith that your child will pull through.

Without Faith the world of NICU and hospitals is a dark, lonely place.

Meet Haro

We did something a little nuts.

Alot of people will probably think its nuts anyway.

The kids got a puppy.

He's a mix breed,

has markings of a Rottweiler or Doberman 

but the mom was a mix of terrior and queensland.

He looks nothing like his mommy.

Infact looking at the whole litter,

I'd say there were at the very least,

2 fathers to this litter.

We know Liam has alot of special needs that take up ALOT of my time,

but a puppy can be theraputic.

Theraputic for Lanie and me :)

We've yet to let Liam and the puppy with eachother.

Its just too nerve recking.

This puppy, Haro

is the most docile dog I have EVER met.

He spent the ENTIRE day sleeping away.

Finnaly around 7pm,

when it got cooler than 105,

he was ready to play.

Sort of anyway.

His idea of playing was to sit on his butt and barely even chew on a dog toy.

We gave him a bath first thing.

Then he snuggled with Lanie.

When he started walking around,

we quickly realized that he hadnt been walking long.

Or he didnt act like it anyway.

He seemed unstanble on his feet.

After ALOT of coaxing,

we finnaly got him "running" after us,

with that cute puppy grin.

Its weird that he doesnt wanted to do much,

other than lay there or me petted.

But hey,

its perfect for Liam.

We cant have a puppy jumping all over him,

thats just bad news.

Haro is so smart.

He already knows how to sit when told.

We just pray that he continues to behave after he gets settled.



A Sweet Home Comming

While we were at the hospital, I checked out the gift shop hopping that they would have another Baba. Unfortunately they didnt but they had the brand of Baba. So I went online, found Baba and ordered him. We got home yesterday and guess who made his way home today.....

And the shock was written all over Liam's face

He just couldn't believe it was really Baba

But it really put a HUGE smile on Liam's face

He kept stairing at him

It was a sweet home comming

Nothing can take the place of a boy's puppy

***Disclaimer: There was no prompting needed to get Liam to smile so much and so big. He was truely and genuinely happy to see his Baba again.
